If you’re in the Startup space and not living under a cave, you’ve probably heard of Dave McClure. A self proclaimed sith lord and founding partner of 500 Startups, a seed fund and startup accelerator program based in Silicon Valley.

Dave is not your ordinary Investor. He has invested in 500+ startups in 30+ countries, including Mint.com, SlideShare, Twilio, SendGrid, Wildfire, & MakerBot. He has been an engineer and written code, an entrepreneur who founded a company + grew it & sold it. He has been a marketer at PayPal who managed email campaigns, search marketing and wrote copy for both PayPal & Simply Hired. He has been a tech blogger for 10+ years, and written hundreds of posts. He’s an angel investor on a personal level and a venture capitalist on a professional level. He has organized user groups & conferences in Silicon Valley for 20 years. He started the early-stage investment program for Founders Fund in 2008, and ran the Facebook fbFund incubator program in 2009. He created the “AARRR” (Acquisition/ Activation/ Retention/ Referral/ Revenue) startup metrics for pirates concept & framework. He has given hundreds of talks on startups & tech entrepreneurship.
