We originally planned to offer this Acceleration Program exclusively to 501c3 registered nonprofits. But, since we’ve also received nominations for a couple of for-profit social enterprises,and we’re happy to announce that we are considering them as well 🙂

3. Girls Inc. of Alameda County
The mission of Girls Inc. of Alameda County is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
4. New Door Ventures
New Door Ventures is dedicated to changing the trajectory of the lives of disconnected youth, putting them on a path toward economic opportunity.
PeopleShores is transforming disconnected young adults in United States communities into knowledge professionals.
BelCham – The Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce facilitates the success of Belgian students, entrepreneurs and companies in the US as the connector between like-minded people, the provider of knowledge and experiences, as well as the proactive partner for career referrals and introductions.
7. Humanity Road
Humanity Road connects people, animals and emergency officials with help and resources when disaster strikes. Humanity Road is a pioneer in a new generation of humanitarian relief through social listening. They’ve built a process focused on early adoption and improvement in response to sudden onset disaster.
ACRM – American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine is an Association created to IMPROVE LIVES of individuals with a disability.
9. Kansas City Startup Foundation
Kansas City Startup Foundation isdedicated to accessing the passion, ingenuity and collaborative spirit of the Kansas City startup community through storytelling, connections, and experiences to empower individuals to solve the challenges of today.
10. The Coaching Fellowship
The Coaching Fellowship is an international community of extraordinary young women leaders of impact.
11. Latino Corporate Directors Association
The mission of The Latino Corporate Directors Association is to support and develop Latino Corporate Directors and accelerate the growth potential of U.S. companies by supporting their efforts to increase the number and influence of qualified Latinos on their corporate boards.
12. Foundation For Excellence
When students with high potential do not have the financial ability to go to college FFE steps in with scholarships.

13. Americans For Tax Fairness
Americans for Tax Fairness (ATF) is a diverse campaign of more than 420 national, state and local endorsing organizations united in support of a fair tax system that works for all Americans.
14. Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery
Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery makes the recovery process after a brain injury or stroke more holistic and hopeful for survivors and their families.
15. Communities in Schools
Communities in Schools is on a mission to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
16. Friends of Campbell Library
The Friends of the Library supports the Campbell Library by sponsoring programs open to the public, such as summer reading programs, buying books, DVDs, magazines and other library materials.

The Porter House KC is an inner city based co-working community who provides entrepreneurship access and resources to underserved populations in the Kansas City Metro area.
